Steps for creating and sharing a payment request

Create a payment request

Step 1

Option 1 - On the Elevate Receivables dashboard, click on the “Create new request“ button:

Option 2 - If you have created a payment request before, click the "View all" button in the "Payment Requests" section or tap on the "View all payment requests" card on the Payment Requests dashboard if all of your requests have been paid. This will take you to the Payment Request dashboard.

Then, click on the "+" button on the Payment Requests dashboard to create a new payment request.

Step 2

After clicking the button above, you will be directed to the "Payment Request" page where you can fill in the details for your payment request.

  • In the "Payment details" section, fill in the customer name, payment amount, reference number, description, and payment due date

  • In the "Reminder" section, you can choose to toggle on reminders and enter the customer's email to receive our reminders

Step 3

After filling in the payment request details, click the "Continue" button.

Double-check the payment request details on the Payment Request confirmation page before clicking the "Create payment request" button to create the request.

Your request will be successfully generated once you see the success page.

Share a payment request

After seeing the successful payment request creation page, you will be directed to the "Share Request" page.

From there, you can choose to send the request via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or copy the URL and send it via other messaging tools on your phone.

Option 1: Share payment requests via email

  • If you send the request via email, your customer will be able to view the bank transfer details directly in the email:

Option 2: Share payment requests via text, Whatsapp or other messaging tools

  • If you send the payment request via text, WhatsApp, or other messaging options by adding the requested link, your customer will be able to access the payment page by clicking on the URL sent in your message. They can then follow the instructions on the page to make a payment to you.
