Step 1:
On the Receivables Overview page, click “Connect with Xero”.
Alternatively, go to Receivables → Settings → Manage third-party connections, and click the same button.
Step 2:
You’ll be redirected to Xero. Log in and click “Allow access” to connect your Xero account to Elevate.
Step 3:
Select your Xero accounts for tracking:
Incoming payments
Processing fees
Then click “Finish setup”.
Step 4:
Review the short tutorial on how to complete setup in Xero.
Click “Go to Xero” to continue.
Step 5:
You’ll land directly on Xero’s Manage connected services page.
Click “Manage themes” and set Elevate as the payment provider under the “Credit card” column of your preferred branding theme.
Step 6:
Create a test invoice in Xero. Under “Online payments”, you should now see Elevate listed.
Step 7:
Copy the invoice link to preview how customers will view it.
Step 8:
Customers can click “Pay via Elevate” on the invoice.
They’ll be redirected to the Elevate payment page to complete the payment.
Step 9:
Within 1 hour after setup, your Xero invoices will automatically appear in the Invoices & Requests dashboard in Elevate.
Use the “Xero invoice” filter to view them easily.
You can now sit back and let Elevate handle the payment chasing based on your default reminder settings.
